The Firelight Series

I just finished reading the last book in the Firelight series by Sophie Jordan. When I first read the description for Firelight I didn't plan on reading it. I don't usually read books about dragons. They just aren't my thing. But after several of my friends gushed about the book I decided to give it a try. I was instantly sucked into the world of Draki, which are descendants of dragons with a human side. The characters, the lore, the descriptions all grabbed a hold of me and wouldn't let go.

If I remember correctly I read Firelight in one sitting. Then the wait for Vanish began. I got it the day it was released and devoured it just as quickly as Firelight. Hidden came out on Tuesday and I decided I was going to take a little longer to read this one because it was the last book and I wanted to savor every word. Guess how well that plan worked out? Yeah, I read it all on Wednesday night. I just couldn't put it down.

I loved this series!! I won't go into detail because Hidden is so fresh on my mind that I'm afraid I will spoil something from the first book. All I can say is that if you like YA paranormal fiction you need to read these books!

Firelight is an original story with a very beautiful intense love between two characters. It's unpredictable and a definite page turner. If you have not picked up a copy of Firelight by Sophie Jordan, I recommend you do. You will not be disappointed.
